Hadi Sarvari is presently a sinior researcher at Birmingham City University. His area of research focuses on Construction Safety and Health as well as suatainability. He also serves as a researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and as an Assistant Professor in Construction Management at the Islamic Azad University Isfahan (Iran). His teaching and research interests include Construction Contract Management, Management Information Systems, Construction Project Planning and Control, Engineering Systems Analysis, Maintenance Management, and Evaluation of Performance in the Construction of infrastructure projects. In 2018, he was awarded the Best Lecturer Award in the Educational field. He was also awarded as a distinguished researcher in 2021.

Firas AL MAHMOUD is full professor. He holds a Ph.D. in strengthening reinforced concrete structures from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Toulouse, France. Accreditation to supervise research (HDR) (2016). 

Prof. Firas AL MAHMOUD currently works at Lorraine University in France as a structural engineering educator. He teaches at several engineering schools. He was the Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Lorraine University from the 2017 – 2020 academic year. Furthermore, He also develops innovative strengthening techniques utilizing fiber-reinforced polymers and cementitious-based mortar. He supervised many Master's and PhD students. He is the author of dozens of research papers and the organizer of some international conferences.

Biao HU is currently an Associate Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University, P.R. China. He obtained his Ph.D. from the City University of Hong Kong in 2017. His main research focuses on composite materials & structures, structural retrofitting, and sustainable construction materials. He has published more than 55 SCI journal papers. The publications have attracted more than 1900 citations recorded in Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com.hk/citations?user=dgo3y7gfI3AC&hl=zh-TW ) with a H-index of 22. He is the principal investigator of 6 research projects and the co-investigator of more than 10 research projects. He serves as the editorial board member of two SCI journals and the guest editor of five SCI journals. He is a regular reviewer of more than 40 peer-reviewed international SCI journals. He received several awards, including the Moisseiff Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in 2018, the IAAM Scientist Medal Award (2023) from the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) & Fellow of IAAM in 2023, Gold Award of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions (2024 & 2025), Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Guangdong Province (2022), and First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Guangdong Province (2024).

Bachir Achour, a distinguished hydraulic engineer affiliated with the Larhyss Laboratory at the University of Biskra in Algeria. He serves as a professor in the Department of Hydraulic and Civil Engineering and manages the Research Laboratory in Subterranean and Surface Hydraulics (LARHYSS).

Prof. Yung Yau is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and currently serves as a Professor at Lingnan University, where he also holds the position of Associate Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. Prior to his appointment at Lingnan University in August 2021, Prof. Yau gained extensive experience in various  organisations and institutions, including the Buildings Department, The University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong.He is also a member of the Jockey Club "Craft Your Life Together" Co-living Community Project Building Committee with SideBySide

Mohammad Arif Kamal is an Architect having 20 years of Teaching, Research and Professional experience in the field of Architecture, Building Technology and Interior Design, He did his Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) with Honors from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2000, and secured a Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) on an MHRD GATE Fellowship from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, in 2002 and Ph.D. in ‘Energy Responsiveness in Traditional Residential Buildings of Lucknow’ on MHRD Fellowship, from IIT, Roorkee in 2007. His major fields of interest are Environmental Design, Sustainable Architecture, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Climate Responsive Architecture, Traditional Architecture etc.

Emin Taner ELMAS is a Mechanical Engineer having degrees of B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., and was born in Sivas in 1974. He completed his doctorate at Ege University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Mechanical Engineering Department, Thermodynamics Science Branch, and his master's degree at Dokuz Eylül University, Mechanical Engineering Department, Energy Science Branch. He also completed his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, ZEF, Mechanical Engineering Department and graduated from the faculty with honors in 1995 and became a mechanical engineer. He was awarded a non-refundable scholarship by the Turkish Chamber of Mechanical Engineers in his 4th year because he was the most succesful student during his first 3 classes study at the faculty. He graduated from ?zmir Atatürk High School in 1991.
